In a sign-of-the-times question this week at SEC Media Days, Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea was asked about the conference's changing perception of Commodores football.

Specifically, one reporter — stating that fans of other SEC teams have traditionally supported Vandy because of the team’s underdog status — wondered whether that might change this season after the ‘Dores nearly made the College Football Playoff last season.
