Olympic Fever: Nashville's many connections to the Olympic Games

The 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony will take place Friday, July 26 in Paris with more than 10,000 athletes from countries all over the world – including some Nashvillians.

This week the Post's sister publication the Nashville Scene profiles of some Olympians with connections to the city – such as swimming sisters Alex and Gretchen Walsh and former gymnast and gold medalist Shawn Johnson East. The Scene cover package also includes a look back at Nashville's historical connections to the games and a list of 2024 Olympians to watch from the Music City.
