In its first game following a World Cup break of nearly two months, Nashville SC used an increasingly familiar theme to emerge victorious.

The Boys in Gold, despite an injury-shortened roster and a rusty return to action, simply managed to find a way to win, edging woeful Atlanta United FC 1-0 at Geodis Park last Friday.
