Two days before starting training camp, the New York Knicks signed former Vanderbilt standout Tyler Nickel to a two-way contract.

Players on two-way deals can bounce back and forth between the NBA and NBA G League, and will earn $678,882 in 2026-27, which is half the rookie minimum salary.
