Former Vanderbilt forward Tyler Nickel may have an interesting business decision on his hands, following a Denver federal court ruling Friday granting a fifth year of eligibility to some class of 2022 athletes.

Nickel fits the bill, as a class of 2022 basketball player who had seemingly exhausted a fourth and final season of eligibility in the spring of 2026.
