Why dominant start of Titans' Jeffery Simmons is especially impressive

One of the few bright spots during the Titans’ 0-4 start, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons has delivered a clinic in disruptive play — very possibly the best of his seven-year career — so far this season.

The three-time Pro Bowler was at his best during last Sunday’s loss to Houston, as Simmons recorded the fastest sack in the NFL over the last two seasons (2.09 seconds, per NextGen Stats) and recorded a career-best four tackles for loss, the most by any Titans player in one game since 2008.
