Vanderbilt headed into Saturday’s game against Alcorn State as a massive favorite over the Braves, a Football Championship Subdivision program that had been blown out in its opener.

So what did the Commodores do? They proceeded to live up to every expectation, thrashing the Braves 55-0 at FirstBank Stadium to improve to 2-0 this season.
