Titans coach Brian Callahan didn’t have one magical answer that completely explained Tuesday’s trade of starting cornerback Jarvis Brownlee, at least not to the extent that reporters — and plenty of fans — sought one.

But the more Callahan talked Wednesday, the more it sounded as if the Titans made the deal because they feel Brownlee can be satisfactorily replaced by players new to the roster this season and because the team is constantly trying to better its draft capital.
