Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers has accrued so many preseason All-American honors this year that it’s easy to forget he’s so new to the position.

Just two seasons ago, Stowers still thought of himself as a college quarterback, the position he had been recruited to play for Texas A&M in 2021, and the position he was still playing five games into 2023 at New Mexico State.
