When he returned from an injury to play his first game in over two months last weekend, Cristian Espinoza looked as if he had never left the lineup.

The Nashville SC forward scored two goals in an efficient 45-minute stint, guiding his team to a 4-1 Leagues Cup victory over Atletico de San Luis. It marked Nashville’s best offensive output in the team’s last 13 contests.
