Former Vanderbilt women’s distance runner Kacie Breeding is among eight athletes challenging the recently approved House vs. NCAA settlement, according to multiple reports.

The eight women are appealing U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken's decision to grant $2.8 billion in backpay payments to former athletes, saying the structure of payments violates the federal Title IX “gender equity status,” per CBS Sports.
