Brentwood’s Andrew Sciortino turned a torrid final day into a record-setting win at the Western Junior Championship at Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, Ill., last Thursday.

An 18-year-old headed to Lipscomb University this fall, Sciortino won the competition by nine strokes, the largest margin of victory since the championship moved to a 72-hole stroke-play format in 1999.
