TSU’s Collins named finalist for Ben Jobe award

Tennessee State University men’s basketball coach Brian “Penny” Collins has resigned, effective immediately, to accept a coaching position in the NBA, per the school.

TSU did not say which NBA team had hired Collins, a Nashville native and Whites Creek High School grad, nor what his role will be.
