The 2025 SEC men’s basketball tournament set a record for its economic impact on Nashville, according to the Nashville Sports Council.

The event, held last month at Bridgestone Arena, generated an estimated $26.6 million for the Middle Tennessee economy, topping its previous mark of $24.5 million in 2024.
