In seeking to trace the path of Vanderbilt’s baseball team from middle-of-the-road SEC program to No. 1 in the nation heading into the NCAA Tournament, a number of Commodores players looked back at the final game of the Oklahoma series.

After getting outscored 23-4 in success losses to the Sooners, the ‘Dores held a players-only meeting and responded by whipping Oklahoma 13-2 in the final game of the series on April 13.
