O'Connell, Memphis mayor-elect discuss Nashville-Memphis relationship

Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell, elected in September, and Memphis Mayor-Elect Paul Young, who will take office in January, met Wednesday for their first public appearance together.

The new leaders of the state's two largest cities addressed a meeting of Partnership Tennessee, a group of Black business leaders, at the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville. They discussed the specific priorities of their new administrations but also the ways in which the two cities can support one another.
