Tennessee Titans v Cleveland Browns - NFL 2025

Jeffery Simmons (No. 98) of the Tennessee Titans sacks Shedeur Sanders of the Cleveland Browns during the first quarter at Huntington Bank Field on Dec. 7, 2025, in Cleveland.

In the latest episode of First & Tenn presented by Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee:

  • We saw several stunning developments in the Titans’ win 31-29 win over Cleveland on Sunday — which included a sturdy offensive line performance, a career day from Tony Pollard, and a team that scored 30 points. Which was the most shocking?

  • Cam Ward was not tremendously productive against the Browns, though he did throw two TDs for the first time in his career. Overall, Ward completed 14 of 28 passes for just 117 yards, throwing an interception to boot. Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders accounted for nearly 400 yards of offense and four touchdowns. How big a deal was the disparity between the two?

  • Speaking of Ward, he didn’t appear overly excited following the victory. After saying all year that wins were the only thing that mattered, Ward’s comments seemed to indicate he wasn’t happy with the overall performance — as well as his own performance. Significant issue or overblown?

  • The Titans have not won back-to-back games since November of 2022, a ridiculously embarrassing streak. Is there reason to believe they can make it two wins in a row at San Francisco on Sunday?

  • What do we think of the 49ers, who have won four of their past five games, and what is our final score prediction for Sunday’s game?
