Vanderbilt University Medical Center will soon announce that it has achieved a Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Of the more than 6,000 hospitals in the U.S., VUMC is now one of only 224 to achieve the coveted status as a Magnet hospital. It is also the first and only Middle Tennessee hospital to receive the honor.
