Senior state executive joins lottery team

Tennessee Treasurer Steve Adams has been named the Lottery Corporation's chief administrative officer.

In his new position, Adams will handle the day-to-day administrative functions of the Lottery including the management of contracts with retailers who sell lottery tickets. Adams also will be responsible for internal audits. His base salary will be $180,000. He'll take office sometime after Oct. 24.
