Randall Smith, CEO and co-founder of Hendersonville-based hotel researchers STR, won the Lifetime Acheivement Award at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit in San Diego.

Founded in Lancaster, Pa. in 1985, STR provides performance, profitibality and census date to hoteliers in North America and the Caribbean.
