Capella names chief quality officer

Capella Healthcare has appointed Dana Rice as senior vice president and chief quality officer.

In her new role, Rice will oversee clinical operations and quality performance at the Franklin-based company's hospitals. Previously, she was the senior director of hospital operations for Kaiser Permanente for two and a half years, serving as administrative liaison to 11 hospitals in the Colorado region. Prior to that, she was the company's regional director of resource stewardship and was COO for more than two years of Capella hospital Capital Medical Center in Washington.
