Accredo Health to be acquired for $2.2 billion

Accredo Health Inc. (ACDO), a Memphis-based distributor of specialty drugs and service, announced today that Medco Health Solutions Inc. (MHS) will acquire it in a $2.2 billion cash and stock deal.

The agreement states that each Accredo share will be exchanged for $22.00 in cash and 0.49107 shares of Medco common stock, valuing the price of each Accredo share at $43.33.
