A consultant of Caremark Rx Inc. (CMX), which is in the process of relocating its headquarters to Nashville from Birmingham, Ala., has been hired as vice chairman of institutional pharmacy business at Genesis Health Ventures (GHVI)

John J. Arlotta, who previously served as president and chief operating officer of Caremark Pharmaceutical Services, has assumed responsibility for the $1.2 billion NeighborCare institutional pharmacy business at Genesis, the Kennett Square, Pa.-based company said Monday.
