Final defendant pleads guilty in Vanderbilt rape case

Former Vanderbilt University football player Jaborian “Tip” McKenzie on Monday pleaded guilty to facilitation of aggravated rape, bringing to a conclusion the trial of the fourth and final defendant in the rape case that began nearly five years ago.

The Tennessean reports McKenzie cooperated with prosecutors and testified at trial against his three co-defendants. The 23-year-old will not serve prison time but will have to register as a sex offender for life and serve 10 years of probation.
