Work is underway in downtown's North Capitol neighborhood on Chamberlain House, a 345-resident apartment building. Charlotte-based development company Proffitt Dixon Partners is undertaking the project at 912 Second Ave. N.

Construction on the 249 one-bedroom and 96 two-bedroom unit building is scheduled to be completed in early 2026.
