Downtown Hooters building sells for $4.9M

The pre-World War I-constructed downtown building home to sports bar and burger chain Hooters has sold for almost $4.9 million.

The new owner of the property at 184 Second Ave. N. is a Los Angeles-based LLC for which the Post was unable to determine details by publication time. The seller was an LLC affiliated with Atlanta-based Hooters of America LLC. That entity acquired the property — located in what some call The District — in December 2012 for about $2.9 million, according to Metro records.
