Atlanta company buys local Inc. 5000 tech firm

Nashville-based technology equipment and managed services firm LPS Integration has been acquired by an Atlanta company backed by two private equity firms.

Terms of Data Blue’s deal for LPS, which was launched in 2002, aren’t being disclosed. LPS is a value-added reseller that specializes in cloud infrastructure, networking and security products and services, marketing offerings from big names including Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft. The company posted revenues of $106 million in 2015, when it made the Inc. 5000 list of fast-growing private companies for the sixth consecutive year.
