An Italian restaurant to be called Mona is planned for a former Rutledge Hill residence downtown — with a future mixed-use building to eventually join the business and be located nearby.

According to a Metro permit, the restaurant will be located at 20 Academy Place in a building owned by Invest Holdings LLC. The entity paid $1.15 million for the property in April 2022, Metro records show.
