About 2.5 years after announcing its plans to establish a presence in the general Nashville area, regional supermarket chain Hy-Vee has yet to open an area store.

As the Post reported in December 2021, Hy-Vee Inc. had been planning to open two grocery stores in the Nashville market and build in the area what would be the West Des Moines-based regional supermarket chain’s third distribution center.
