A 2017-released image of the IKEA planned for Antioch 

IKEA's Memphis store — the only Tennessee location for the contemporary furniture retailer — will soon close its doors. 

The company, based in Sweden, announced in a press release on Tuesday the upcoming closure will become effective on May 3. The store has operated in Memphis for about 10 years.
