Gap Inc. officials announced Thursday the company will expand operations in Gallatin, with the effort representing a $58 million investment and expected to yield 100 jobs.

According to a release, the investment will bolster Gap’s $150 million in investments made during the past eight years in Sumner County. During that time, the clothing retail company has created more than 1,600 full- and part-time jobs.
