Local fashion brand Able has declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Nashville Business Journal reported. 

A company profile, filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Tennessee, said customers came to expect promotional pricing and made purchases primarily during sales only. Able also got into financial distress due to offering extended sizing and added pressure from a membership program.
