A combination cocktail bar and dive bar business is slated to open by year’s end in the Midtown-area building last home to Cafe Coco.

Beau Gaultier will own and operate cocktail bar Verna in the building’s front space and Connie’s Upscale Dive in the back space that accommodated live music and stand-up comedy. Gaultier will be joined as an owner by Connor Bloem and chef Daniel Gorman (who will also have some ownership in the business).
