Captain D’s announces master franchisee for U.K. operations

Captain D's announced Thursday the master franchisee of its United Kingdom operations, with the first restaurant to be operational in Kent in August.

According to a release, the Nashville-based fast-casual seafood restaurant company will partner with London-based CD's Holdings as the ownership group to establish a presence in the U.K. and other European countries. The release notes the recently finalized 20-unit master franchise agreement, financial terms of which are not being disclosed, also will yield Captain D’s restaurant openings in Sussex and Hampshire soon after the Kent opening.
