Musical instrument manufacturer Gibson Inc. announced Thursday that President and Chief Executive Officer Cesar Gueikian will step down, effective July 31.

According to a release, Gueikian will transition into a new role as strategic advisor to the Gibson board. In addition, he will serve the Nashville-based company as a “global artist ambassador.”
