Finnish tire maker adds key local official

The Nashville-area regional headquarters of Finland-based Nokian Tyres has hired Christy McDaniel as head of supply chain for the Americas region.

According to a release, the position is new to the company. McDaniel will manage the tire manufacturer’s logistics, supply chain planning and customer service divisions. With about 20 years of experience organizing logistics and supply chain processes across various industries, McDaniel joins Nokian Tyres from Washington, D.C.-based Danaher Corp., where she served in global leadership roles for multiple subsidiaries.
