EnergyLogic sold to Wisconsin company

Area entrepreneur Rob Stevens has sold EnergyLogic, a maker of waste oil space heaters, to a Wisconsin peer that will now be the leader in that market.

Stevens has owned Antioch-based EnergyLogic since late 2001, when he bought what was then Black Gold. Terms of his deal with Rock Energy Systems, which has acquired other brands over the years, are not being disclosed. Rock Energy will continue to operate EnergyLogic’s facility on Crossings Boulevard in Antioch. Combined, the company will be home to 92 people, 32 of them coming from EnergyLogic.
