The stock of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. on Wednesday will look to regain some value created from the company’s announcement of two major transactions, including the sale of Maple Street Biscuit Company.

Cracker Barrel shares (Nasdaq: CBRL) concluded Tuesday trading priced at $53.90, up 0.92 percent (a rise of $0.49 per share) and added $0.01 in after-hours trading. The price compares to the $59.50 mark the stock enjoyed on Monday after the company said it had finalized a sale-leaseback transaction with an institutional real estate investor for 26 company-owned Cracker Barrel store locations, generating net proceeds of approximately $77 million.
