Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. announced Wednesday it will acquire real estate services platform Fathom Holdings Inc.

A release from Fathom notes the transaction, which is expected to close this year, will offer an implied equity value of approximately $53.38 million. The deal will involve an exchange ratio of 0.2236 shares of Bed Bath & Beyond common stock for each Fathom share.
