Nashville law firm Thompson Burton has announced the hiring of entertainment and corporate attorney Jim Kuzmich as a partner.

According to a release, Kuzmich will establish intellectual property and entertainment law practices for the firm. He has experience providing legal counsel to small and mid-size businesses about growth and transitional phases as well as company sales and acquisitions. Kuzmich has also worked with startups facing legal issues with formation and structure, intellectual property protection, and other operations and commercial leasing matters. He has served musicians, influencers, producers, songwriters and professional athletes.
