Tennessee may adopt new bar exam

The Tennessee Board of Law Examiners has asked the Tennessee Supreme Court to adopt the Uniform Bar Examination, a nationwide test already adopted by 28 states.

Adoption of the UBE would allow attorneys from Tennessee to more easily become licensed in other jurisdictions while similarly easing hurdles for attorneys from jurisdictions that also use the test, according to a BLE release.
