Supreme Court considering bar eligibility changes

The Tennessee Supreme Court is seeking comment on possible changes to the rules governing educational requirements for foreign applicants to the Tennessee bar.

The changes were proposed jointly by the Vanderbilt University and University of Tennessee law schools after Argentine lawyer Maximiliano Gabriel Gluzman, who had earned an LL.M. degree from Vanderbilt, was denied the opportunity to take the Tennessee bar exam.
