Notes: Vanderbilt, Belmont top bar exam results

Belmont University and Vanderbilt University topped statewide law schools in recently released results from the July bar exam.

Belmont’s less-than-a-decade-old law school saw 90.79 percent of its students pass the bar, second behind Vanderbilt’s 91.18 percent. In a release, Belmont celebrated that 94.52 percent of its first-time test takers passed the exam, the highest mark in the state.
