The Tennessee Department of Revenue announced Friday that local fast-casual restaurant franchisee Richard Davis has plead guilty to theft and tax evasion.

According to a release, Davis — known for his past work with both Schlotzsky's Deli and Pie Five Pizza Company — willfully failed to remit sales taxes collected from Pie Five customers.
