A federal judge in Georgia has denied certification of a class action for the second time in the past six months to a group that alleges the Lebanon company discriminated against African-American employees.

Judge Harold Murphy of the Northern District of Georgia said that the statistical information does not demonstrate systemic adverse treatment of African-Americans. The lawsuit was filed in October 1999 by 13 Cracker Barrel employees and former employees.
