Bass bringing on H3GM group

The largest law firm in Nashville is growing bigger thanks to the recruiting of a number of Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner attorneys, a migration that will mean the dissolution of that respected firm.

The move of 10 H3GM shareholders as well as about five associates and additional staff members — the final details haven't yet been decided — to Bass Berry & Sims will boost Bass’ presence in mergers, securities, bankruptcy, intellectual property and health care work. Among those relocating from H3GM's home in the AT&T Tower to the Pinnacle at Symphony Place are name partners Craig Gabbert and Mark Manner, who said the change to Bass will allow the lawyers access to more breadth in working with clients who have greater and more sophisticated needs.
