Williamson Health claims financial stability

Williamson Health is reminding residents that the hospital is financially stable, is not owned by the county and isn't making the decision to sell just yet.  

The hospital system released a lengthy press release last week, explaining various parts of its strategic planning process which began in July 2025. At the time, the nonprofit independent system wrote in an open letter claiming it is facing "mounting pressures" — including staffing shortages, an increase in operating costs and inadequate reimbursements from insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid, among other concerns.
