Vanderbilt University will receive $12 million to establish and manage the Mid-South Research Evaluation and Commercialization Hub, part of the National Institutes of Health’s REACH program. 

NIH will contribute $4 million over four years, with the remaining $8 million to come from matching funds from partnering universities, state economic development entities and public-private partnerships, according to a release.
