In the midst of a growing decline in vaccination rates, the Vanderbilt Center for Antibody Therapeutics has signed an agreement with Saravir Biopharma Inc. to develop antibodies for the treatment and prevention of measles.

Saravir Biopharma Inc. was launched in July 2025 in collaboration with Columbia University to develop a measles monoclonal antibody.
