Tennessee Health Care Hall of Fame 2023

AngelEye Health announced Tuesday that it acquired Enlighten Mobility’s Early Detection Neuromotor Assessments (EDNA) portfolio. Enlighten Mobility is a medical equipment company based in South Bend, Indiana.

Nashville-based AngelEye uses cameras to allow parents to monitor their babies in neonatal intensive care units remotely. The EDNA technology is used in 250 hospitals including Nationwide Children’s Hospital, according to a press release. The technology is touted as the first automated noninvasive neuromotor screening for newborns, which can detect subtle movement patterns to identify potential risks for disease and developmental delays.
